Apart from that there are also folders "lost&found" "shared" and "temp" under sda2 with no useful content (it seems to me).

There is a folder "data" that seems to have all the recent files of my backuped system, but I don't know how to put that back on the sd and get it runnig again.

When using a Raspberry Pi you can specify kernel parameters and Berryboot parameters in cmdline.txt (use uEnv.txt if you have another device).
In sda2 is a folder "images" with a useable. I tried the imager method first and got as far as changing the partition lable. If the system is already bricked, just reinstall Berryboot to SD card, and choose use existing files during installation. Install BerryBoot and use that to install and boot Ubuntu from an external drive. Put it on a usb drive and tell berryboot to install a new OS from usb, give it a minute and youre good to go, usb drive no longer needed. this is a blank/fresh install Rasplex img in SFS format for berryboot. img files, but none is in the right format for berryboot. Can prevent the problem from happening by updating Berryboot itself to the latest version (by going to the Berryboot menu editor -> add OS -> accept self-update when prompted) prior to running apt-get dist-upgrade. I wont go into all the troubles I had but I wanted to share the finished product in case someone else rolls the fail dice as well as I do.

Bluetooth works just fine (Raspberry and Device works just fine). 2.I also installed Raspbian to check (on the same SD through BerryBoot). Now I wanted to recover it, and follow the instructions "Backups of individual images can be restored by holding down the “add OS” button and selecting “copy OS from USB stick”" - but after that I am confused. Bluetooth Activated within OpenELEC addon but Bluetooth section always display 'no Bluetooth adapter found'. Just crashed my filesystem - kind of expected - and therfore did a backup with the berryboot menu.
